“The missions trip has completely transformed my life and I am very sure of God’s call on my life to serve the poor, needy and victims social injustice in this nation” said Issac who was one of the team member.
Every year we take team from Spain to do summer of service in India- The objective of this trip is to mobilize Spaniards for missions. We were nine people, from different parts of Spain. We work with the local church and ministries.
We worked with A project with street children, Jitu is a founder member of this ministry. Today most of the children have finished their higher secondary and pursuing university degrees in the field such as Nursing, Engineering and professional training.
Rohit a former street child, who grew-up in our home, have finished YWAM training, now he is serving the Lord as a mission worker among the poor, needy and street children.
These boys even have their football team. We could take football shoes and cloths for them. Joshua and Anand have possibility of turning into professional players.
We also planted trees around the newly built children home. We worked with Children in the red-light area. We worked in the day care center for the children of sex workers. We continue to pray and uphold for the safety and protection of these kids.
We worked with projects in the slums. Ministering the children, sharing the love of Christ through dance, dramas, art and craft, donating cloths, food and educational material.
We also distributed monthly grocery packets for the poorest of poor. This year we also
bought blankets to distribute among the poor and widows.
In the month of December we would like to distribute blankets for 200 families. Each blanket costs 5 euros.
